pierce me till i'm numb....

random post about my love for piercings!!~
one of the greatest modifications every discovered, simple or sophisticated.
jazz up your jewellery or keep it plain. Piercings are so unique, they are forever on your body and you can change the jewellery to suit your style or mood. It's a modern world and the acceptance of body jewellery is slowly being accepted by employers =]

I have....15 piercings on my ears up to date.
I used to also have a navel ring and brow piercing.. but those have been taken out.. =[ rest in peace.

A little advice...
do not over clean your fresh piercing.. it could get dry and get infected instead.

If your piercing is swelling and there's pus coming out, do not take out your earring! Simply change to one that has a longer rod so there's room to swell. If you take out the jewellery before the infection drains, you could keep the infection trapped inside, not only that but a keloid or bubble could form.

Don't wear cheap jewellery, it rust while it's in your piercing.

Careful not to yank on your jewellery (when you're changing or doing sports).

what are your thoughts about piercings? got questions? leave a comment ^_^

MOOSEKNUCKLES

Hi everyone, so it's been a long time since i've posted. Yes i am getting lazy big time.
But let's get to the point. Canadian winters are awfully cold and my tna jacket really isn't going to cut it this season.
I asked around for suggestions on a jacket but everyone gives me CANADA GOOSE. To be honest, i'm not looking to join the goose army. So then i heard about this new brand.. well more recent brand called "Moose Knuckles" they have down jackets that are just as stylish as a CG if not, better. The only problem, it's $200 more expensive as well.
So after a long time of searching i've finally gotten one since all the other stores were sold out.
The bomber i got was xs black debbie bomber with white fur.
Real cute jacket, and very warm too. I walked downtown with just a tubetop and the jacket and it was warm!
Here are some pictures =] (sorry for the crap pictures it was taken on my bb. and sorry for the bad location and the dirty mirror!)
oh and i payed $600 flat for the jacket. BNWT. at a store downtown by the Eaton Centre called Ugly Dukling.

zipped with hood up

so what are my thoughts on it? well pretty much I am satisfied, it keeps it warm but for the price.. not all that worth it. a goose could have given the same warmth, but if you want to pay the extra $200 for a more unique jacket and to stand out then yes, go for it!~

EYELINER reviews

hello, so it looks like i haven't blogged in a few days or so..
today the post will b on eyeliners.
so let's get started.
i will be reviewing...

L'OREAL Carbon Black Lineur Intense
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner Waterproof and 24H
NYX Super Skinny Marker
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner
Maybelline Line Stiletto
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen
Elizabeth Arden Gel Eyeliner

*pictures are in order

TESTING ON ARM

AFTER THE SMUDGE TEST

1. L'oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense
I would use this eyeliner on days when i'm just around the house. If you guys have used the L'oreal carbon black mascara, the formula is similar. it dries quick and it has a lot of pigments. The only thing I don't like about it how easy it is to come off. If you were to get moisture near it, it would flake off and it's just a mess!
The applicator is hard to use, not a felt tip but more like a brush. easy to mess up but on the bright side it's also easy to remove!

2. K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner
This is my absolute favourite eyeliner! I have both the waterproof and regular 24/h version. I picked this up when i was in Japan for some time. The waterproof formula would be better because when you sweat it does not drip of fold over to your bottom lids. The only thing i have against the 24/h version is that it's too watery. Very much like ink especially when you get water on it, it turns into this green/blue colour and drips all over like no tomorrow! *don't wear the 24/h one if you do sports! The applicators are the easiest to use, not exactly felt pen but a very fine brush, maximum control!

3. NYX Super Skinny Marker in Carbon Black
I haven't used this eyeliner often enough but from the few times i have used it it was pretty comparable to the K-Palette ones. The brush applicator was similar to the K-Palette ones, fairly easy to control. Smudges well without taking colour off for the ones who like to do smokey eyes!

4. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Black Brown
Good formula, does not flake and stays on well on hot days. Does not smudge even if you rub it vigorously!! The applicator is very nice too, felt tip short lengthed. Colour is deeeep and the formula or colour doesn't seem watered down.

5. Maybelline Line Stiletto in Blackest Black
Formula is just mediocre. Flakes off with moisture and it takes long to dry. The applicator is long and hard to control because it's very flimsy. Felt tipped.
Not a big fan of this eyeliner but it's in my make up collection so i'll review it.
I used it a few times and all times.. it didn't seem to stay on. I had to reapply once or twice throughout the day.

6. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in Black
I really like this one because of the applicator and the formula. The colour of the eyeliner is light, so i usually go over it twice but the applicator is felt tipped, almost like a marker. Has stiffness in the tip so it's very easy to control.... anyone ever tried using a washable marker to line their eyes when they were young?.. well that's what it feels like.. not saying that i have...anyway, the formula is good as well, it goes on like ink and doesn't smudge one bit when i do the smudge test, only down side is that it isn't water proof so stay away from the rain!!!

7. Elizabeth Arden Colour Intrigue Gel Liner in Black Pearl
Compared to the Bobby Brown Gel Liner this isn't as good but it does the job. I like how the liner is metallic black, a little bit of fine glitter when you line the bottom of your eyes, it says as long as you don't smudge it. Goes on nicely like all gel liners but i don't think it lasted me throughout the whole day.

and so if u made it through this super long post, kudos to you.
my overall opinion is that pen liners are the easiest to use and they seem to stay on longest, out of all the eyeliners i've reviewed i would suggest the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner in Waterproof. But if you're on a budget and spending 15 dollars on an eyeliner isn't such a good idea I would go with the Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Black Brown, best bang for your 5 bucks!

Questions and comments are welcomed =]

GOSH all over my hair =[

alright so it's time that i redye my hair because my roots are showing and my brown peekaboos are fading back to blonde faaaaast.
i went over to shoppers to pick up a new product
it isssss *drumroooollllls

GOSH Professional Permanent Cream Hair Colour~~~

isn't the packaging pretty? lol that's the first thing i thought sooo i bought it.

so the colour i'm going to dye my hair is 239 Darkest Brown.
I didn't want to have jet black hair.. or faded brown hair.. and i'm tired of having to redye roots every 3 months.. it gets annoying and pricey.. so i chose a colour to end it once and for all.. well for a while at least.

so in the box, i foundd
-Instruction Manual with Gloves
-Gosh Cream Colour
-Gosh Developer Lotion
-Gosh Cream Conditioner

alright so i purchased two boxes.. attt $11.29 each after taxes at shoppers drug mart. i'm not sure if this product is available at wal mart or something because on the box in tiny letters it says "distributed by SHOPPERS DRUG MART PHARMAPRIX"
anywayss, i normally use two boxes of dye all the time because my hair is thick and long. but surprisingly this time, i was able to coat all of my hair.. with one box

the mixture was rather liquid, not too thick so it was easy to spread maybe that's why i was able to use one box only.
on the downside.. you really have to be careful, i almost got some in my eye because it slid off a strand of my hairr when i was putting it on. clumsy mee~

lalala.. okay here's me looking super ugly with a grocery bag over my hair..

gah whaaaattta lewwsur =[

AND THIS IS HOW IT TURNED OUT! this picture was taken the morning after.
the colour is indeed very very dark.. if ur not in the sunlight it looks jet black.
and the conditioner was great! i only used 1/3 of the tube and it made my hair very soft and shiny!

Glue-ing your eyelids? THAT'S CRAZY TALK?!

okay so if you're asian... you would know how annoying it is to have no crease or folds on your eye because everytime you try to apply eyeshadow.. there really is no limit on where it stops.

just the other day i picked up a product called koji eye talk. basically eyelid glue for asians! yay~~i actually just got it for the sake of having it in my make up collection. but little did i know i woke up with very awkward eyes today!
i normally have hooded eyes so my eyeshadow or eyeliner doesn't show when i look up.

so here, is my eyes originally, when i look up my crease completely disappears and it appears as if i had monolids

my crease varies by day. sometimes it's big sometimes it doesn't show.

today i decided to give eye talk a try since i was going to hang out with friends and didn't want to have small eyes. here is a picture of how it turned out

okay so here it is, so i didn't go for too much of a fold.. just enough for it to show and so that it'll make things easier when i line my eyes.

alright review time of eyetalk now

Pros: fixes bad eyelids on important days, easy to remove, invisible almost, works with make up

Cons: takes a while to get used to, not waterproof, shows when u put on eyeshadow, would $16 CAD count as expensive for one tube?

and that is all! feel free to comment or question ;)

RAWR gotta love pmall!

Magic Whitening Soap!

Hello, so today's post will be about my new discovery.
*drumroolllllll

LIKAS PAPAYA SOAP

so for all of you who already know about this soap haha please tell me about your experiences.
and for those who don't, likas papaya soap is basically this bright orange soap that's made with papaya extracts i believe and it is said to lighten skin complexion.
Now, i have been playing volleyball all summer on concrete so i'm pretty much BURNT.
I dooo not want to stay this dark so i've decided to give this soap a try.

So far so good, i have not seen any big changes in colour but i have felt that my skin was softer and smoother and less.. aged looking.. esp my shoulders.

I'm only using it on my body because my face is very pale.. it's like a ghost face D:.

I will post up another entry in a few weeks with pictures includeddd to see how much it really has worked!
